The Pines
This architecturally designed home won 8 awards at the 2007 HIA CSR Housing/Kitchen & Bathroom Awards and has been featured in numerous magazines, including Sanctuary, Belle Property, Townsvillle Eye and the recently released "The Australian House".
Its unique design takes advantage of the serenity and cooler temperatures afforded by the surrounding pine forest. The open plan maximizes prevailing breezes and light, brings the outdoors indoors, and enables the occupants to tread lightly on this earth. OPEN FOR HOLIDAY RENTALS
The Pines is an architecturally designed, multi-award winning tropical home. Its unique design gives a holiday with a difference:
- Enjoy the smell of the pine trees on approach.
- Collect fallen pine cones - wonderful for the kids (or adults!) to spray paint silver and gold for your next Christmas tree.
- Delight in the wide overhangs that bring the outside in, but which protect you from the excesses of the sun.
- Shower with no shower curtains or closed in cubicles.
- Parents, close off the master bedroom area and soak in a bath on the patio deck with no bathroom walls to close you in.
Airconditioners in bedrooms; we hope you find that with proper design, overhead fans and good airflow, you won't need airconditioning in the rest of the house.

There is no pool here, but the ocean and magical beaches are not far away.
